Horizontal Lifeline Cable Systems

Horizontal lifeline systems should be considered your first choice to prevent falls when access to rooftops is needed. Our flexible systems are designed to operate horizontally, vertically, around corners or up-and-down inclines. They offer complete protection and comply with all current legislation.

Heightsafe Systems’ horizontal lifeline systems are a market leader in terms of their safety aspects, and ease of use. They complement individual building design and are sensitive towards planning requirements. Heightsafe Systems are a leading specialist in the design, supply, installation and commissioning of a number of horizontal cable based lifeline systems.

Heightsafe Systems are a leading specialist in the design, supply, installation and commissioning of a number of horizontal cable based lifeline systems.

Each system would be designed specific to the site requirements, whether that be a direct fix to a solid structure, and all are capable of being fixed to built-up or composite metal roof sheets, single ply membrane roof profiles, concrete roofs, lead lined roofs.

Based on an 8mm 7×7 stainless steel cable passing through intermediate cable guides and varying corner assemblies. The cable is terminated at either end using hex swaged fork end or tensioner units connected to end anchorage assemblies.

Our horizontal lifelines are manufactured under the quality control standard ISO 9001 and in compliance with European standard EN795 class C. For more information on our horizontal lifelines and other fall arrest products, contact us on 0845 604 6890.
