Heightsafe Systems are a market leader in the design, supply and installation of bespoke Fall Protection and Lightning Protection Systems. Due to continuous growth in our Lightning Protection division, an excellent opportunity has arisen for a Lightning Protection Engineer.

- Reporting To: Operations Manager for Lightning Protection
- Starting Salary: Up to £35,000 – depending on experience
Roles and Responsibilities
You will be required to Install lightning protection and earthing systems for a variety of structures. With this role you will also be required to carry out inspection and testing to lightning protection systems and carry out any repairs/remedials that have been identified.
The right candidate will need to have good strong communication skills and have proven experience within the lightning protection industry with knowledge of all lightning protection standards. You must be willing to work away from home where required and travel to various locations around the country, you will be paid for nights spent away from home and the accommodation is also paid for by Heightsafe Systems.
You will need to be comfortable with working at height and also working outdoors.
Essential Qualifications:
- Clean full UK Driving licence
- NVQ L2 or NVQ L3 in Lightning Protection
Desired Qualifications:
- CSCS card holder
- SSSTS
- IPAF 1a, 1b, 3a ,3b
- PASMA
- Sarna Lightning Clip
- Rope Access trained to BS or IRATA
All other training will be provided by Heightsafe Systems
