We are currently looking for an experienced Fall Arrest Engineer who is willing to travel, to join our growing Compliance department.

Roles and Responsibilities
Working within our Compliance Divisions, you will be responsible for the inspection and testing of permanent access equipment, such as; Fall Restraint and Arrest systems, Access Ladders, Gantries and Platforms, Fixed and Freestanding Handrail Systems, Aluminium & mild steel Walkway Systems and suspended access equipment, including Abseil Anchors and Rails.
The role will require traveling to and from destinations all over the UK with regular overnight stays required.
- Ability to follow and comply with strict safe working practices.
- Deal with clients face to face on site.
- Remediate existing systems that aren’t compliant.
- Installation, inspection and maintenance of fall arrest equipment to both major construction sites and live buildings in accordance with the applicable British Standards and the manufacturers guidelines.
- Follow job instructions, method statements and risk assessments.
- Reflect company standards through pride in personal appearance and upkeep of company property and vehicles.
- Flexibility and positive approach to working away from home.
Essential Skills
- Minimum of 12 months experience testing and working at height.
- A good level of communication skills both written & verbal
- Excellent time management, along with flexibility to suit the business requirements
- An ability to work through challenges on site and find an effective solution
- Experience of working in a small team
- Practical experience in the installation and testing of fixings (Torque setting etc.) in a construction or construction related environment
- Understanding of current work at height regulations
- Numerate and literate with good attention to detail
- Physical fitness
- High level of personal pride and be driven to succeed
- Full Clean Driving Licence
