Lighting Anchorage Testing

Light and Chandelier Fixings should be tested for compliance every 12 months, on any occasion where the item being anchored is altered, and any time the anchorage system is moved.

Anchorage systems and support brackets are generally used for chandeliers, merchandising, lighting, and festive light installations, all of which are commonly in areas that the public are exposed to. Larger chandeliers may also include mechanical or manual winches and chains for ease of access.

  • Why you should test your Light and Chandelier Fixings

Special Light Fixings and Chandeliers are usually within venues where there can be a dense crowd below, such as restaurants and hotel foyers. Health and Safety inspections are necessary to comply with British Regulatory Standards.

Heightsafe offer a professional service from their Compliance Testing division. All personnel accumulate many years of experience and are qualified to inspect your Light and Chandelier Anchorage Fixings. They also have the expertise to conclude whether they are compliant or not. Once Heightafe’s personnel have concluded your Lighting/Chandeliers have met regulations, they will be tagged and certified.
