India Ikonomides, Head of Marketing at Heightsafe Systems commented:
“At Heightsafe our local communities are extremely important to us, and we aim to have a positive impact within these communities by supporting local initiatives such as Fans Supporting Foodbanks. We have been humbled by the response from our Head Office team who cleared their cupboards and stocked our donation boxes to support local food banks and those in need over the Christmas period.”
The initiative is powered by Everton Football Club’s Supporter’s Trust, Spirit of Shankly and Liverpool Football Club’s Red Neighbours programme. The two football teams continue to encourage supporters to donate any non-perishable food after local food banks were busier than ever this Christmas. Collection drives are held at all home games, and supporters are advised to visit club websites for more information on collection points.
