The Brief
Heightsafe were approached to provide a bespoke Safety Line System, designed to guarantee safety for personnel working at height, across three separate roof areas, the main roof, office roof and canopy.
The Solution
Our engineers worked closely with the site manager to coordinate the installation of the safety line system on each of the different roof structures. Our unique system has been specifically designed for composite roof types with a maximum angle of 15°, this versatility allows the system to be installed anywhere on the roof deck.
The Outcome
Following the installation of the safety line system, it was inspected and tested according to EN795 Class C, ensuring the system is safe and complies with current British Standards. ABP Newport now have a complete fall arrest system, which guarantees safety for personnel accessing the roof for maintenance and cleaning.
