CNH Industrial are a leading agricultural production company with a rich history dating back to the 1800s. The company pioneered the development of equipment for the farming and construction industries worldwide. Formed in 2013 through the merger of Fiat Industrial and CNH Global N.V., CNH Industrial continues its legacy of providing cutting-edge machinery and technology that support farmers and ease their work.
With manufacturing facilities across the globe, CNH Industrial’s headquarters are located in Basildon, UK, where they sought a solution to enhance the manufacturing and maintenance processes of their equipment.
The Brief
The agricultural equipment and vehicles produced and serviced by CNH Industrial, including tractors and large machinery, require full access for inspections, checks, and maintenance. To ensure their operatives could easily access all areas of the vehicles, CNH Industrial needed a solution that would allow safe, free movement and protect workers when working at height near the tops of these machines.
The Solution
Heightsafe, part of the Kee Safety Group, has direct access to an extensive range of advanced Work at Height Systems, including the Rigid Rail – an overhead fall arrest system. Rigid Rail integrates seamlessly with existing building structures and offers a variety of mounting options for easy installation. It is particularly well-suited for metal roofs with exposed beams, providing flexible and secure fixing options while minimizing space usage.
Our experienced engineers completed the installation of the Rigid Rail Track with minimal disruption to operations. Using a Mobile Elevated Work Platform (MEWP), the system was successfully installed in just two days.
