This July will see Heightsafe’s Holly Jones [Contracts Administrator] and India Ikonomides [Head of Marketing] conquer Europe’s longest zip wire, and the world’s fastest at 100mph, in aid of Claire House Children’s Hospice whilst dangling 700ft above a quarry!
India Ikonomides discusses the upcoming fundraising challenge:
“This March I was invited to visit Claire House Children’s Hospice to see their facilities and gain further knowledge on how they support seriously and terminally ill children across Wirral, Liverpool and beyond.
I was truly blown away by the remarkable work that their dedicated team do to help these families each day, by creating wonderful experiences and bringing back a sense of normality to family life.
Claire House Children’s Hospice are currently struggling to meet the demands for their services (with an 84% increase over the last 6 years) and are asking for help to reach every terminally ill child in the area, with plans to open a new hospice in Liverpool.
The day was incredibly heart-warming and the challenges that the charity are currently facing have inspired me to support their Every Child campaign through fundraising by taking part in the Zip World Velocity challenge on Saturday the 20th of July 2019.”
Heightsafe are aiming to raise as much as possible for the charity’s Every Child campaign, which will help Claire House to open a new children’s hospice – ensuring they can reach every seriously and terminally ill child in the local area.
